Newbie vegetarian.need advice?

I’m deciding to go vegetarian, but have no clue where to start. I was wondering if you could provide me with some basic advice?
I am aware that I must replace my protein intake with other things such as soy milk, tofu, nuts..etc
Could you please post what you would eat on a regular day (breakfast, lunch and dinner, snacks also) I just want to get an idea of what kind of ingredients to buy! Also, recepies are welcome!

well i have a friend who is vegetarian and she has to check the labels on EVERYTHING she eats to make sure there is no meat. she also eat peanut butter a lot so she can get her protein. hope that helps! i wish i could turn vegetarian, but i love meat to much….

I’m still beginning myself. Depends how much you ate meat could take some getting used to…I started off slow. Replacing milk with soy milk.
Today my meals consisted of:
Breakfast: Toast with jelly and cereal with soy milk
Snack:Apple and banana
Lunch: “Simply Asian” Rice noodle bowl in Shitake mushroom
Dinner: Boca fake chicken pattie burger with baked potato
Snack: Popcorn
